DiMascio Engineering previously branded as D|R, is a full service MEP firm that provides innovative designs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems. We strive for excellence and use our expertise to provide our clients with superior service.
Our approach is simple: We look at each and every project uniquely to come up with a practical, yet smart and efficient design.
Mechanical design services and system expertise include: Boilers, Chillers, Water Source Heat Pumps, Fan Coil Units, Blower Coil Units, Unit Ventilators, Packaged DX Units, Heat Exchangers, PTACs and Ductless Splits.
Electrical design services and system expertise include: Low voltage power distribution, lighting, PA and sound systems and Fire alarm.
Plumbing design services and system expertise include: Domestic Water Distribution, Sanitary, Vent, Storm and Hot Water Recirculation systems. Specialty systems for Commercial Kitchen Design, Compressed Air, Reverse Osmosis and Deionized water. Backflow application and design services are also offered.
Fire Protection design services and system expertise include: Wet-type, Dry-type, Deluge and Preaction Systems. Fire pump design for electric and diesel pumps. Performance based design only, full system layout and hydraulic calculations upon request.
CONTRACTORS: We assist contractors with design-build, design-assist, code review/QAQC and preparation of backflow applications.

Contractor Services
Fees and Terms
DiMascio Engineering PLLC previously branded as D|R, will provide electronic files for Contractor's use in the preparation of coordination, record/shop drawings related to the project, subject to a $60.00 charge per drawing file and the following terms and conditions:
- These electronic files are solely used for the convenience to begin the coordination process, and/or in the preparation of record/shop drawings for the referenced project. These documents shall remain confidential and any other use or reuse by you or by others will be at your sole risk. DiMascio Engineering PLLC assumes no legal liability for your actions. You agree to make no claim and hereby waive, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim or cause of action of any nature against DiMascio Engineering PLLC its members, employees, agents or sub-consultants which may arise out of or in connection with your use of the electronic files.
- Contractors and/or Construction Managers are completely and solely responsible for coordination of work.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiMascio Engineering PLLC shall be held harmless from all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including attorney's fees arising out of or resulting from your use of these electronic files.
- Electronic files provided are not contract documents. Changes may arise between these electronic files and the corresponding hard copy contract documents due to Revisions, ASI, Addenda and Change Orders. DiMascio Engineering PLLC takes no responsibility regarding the accuracy or completeness of the electronic files you receive.
- In the event that a conflict arises between the signed contract documents prepared by DiMascio Engineering PLLC and electronic files, the signed contract documents shall prevail. You are responsible for determining if any conflicts exist. By your use of these electronic files you are not relieved of your duty to comply with the contract documents, including and without limitation, the need to check, confirm and coordinate all dimensions and details, take field measurements, field verify conditions and coordinate your work with that of other contractors for the project.
- Due to the potential that the information on the electronic files can be modified, unintentionally or otherwise, DiMascio Engineering PLLC reserves the right to remove all indication of its ownership and/or involvement from each electronic display.
- DiMascio Engineering PLLC will provide electronic files of the requested drawing sheets upon acceptance of the terms and conditions, and receipt of your payment.
- In no event shall DiMascio Engineering PLLC be responsible for any loss or profit of any consequential damages.
